Wendy Graham has been at Vassar since 1988. Her areas of interest include: American Literature; American Culture, emphasizing issues of gender and sexual nonconformity as well as the relationship between fiction and the emerging social sciences (psychology, anthropology, museology, sociology, biophysics); Literary Decadence, Pre-Raphaelitism, and the notion of sister arts; literary and critical theory; African-American literature.
